In this heartwarming film by Turkish Airlines titled “Hayal Edince – Türk Hava Yolları” translated as “When You Dream”, we follow a group of children who spend their days looking up at the sky, spotting planes, and waiting for a moment when one might land right in their village.

The ad follows their determination as they build a runway of their own, lighting it up at night, hoping to bring the world a little closer. Little do they know, just behind the mountain ridge, a real runway and airport are being built.

The ad pairs tender, optimistic storytelling with playful music, including a beautiful moment where Turkish folk melodies shine through. It is truly a reminder that dreams, sometimes, really do land.

Turkish Airlines, with its hub in Istanbul, has been bridging cultures and continents since 1933. And this film reminds us that some journeys begin not in the sky, but in the hearts of those who dare to dream.
