Fishing Bishop CA - Pleasant Valley Reservoir As soon as we got there the fish were biting! Pleasant Valley Reservoir is located off Gorge Road in Bishop California. There is a Power Plant there also known as PVR and if you like to hike and the beautiful outdoors than get ready to have some fun on the Owens River Fishing in the Eastern Sierras. We've been coming several years now and it's usually been great for rainbow trout fishing.

This year I bought a bunch of lures, but no luck, so now I switched it to Mustad Hooks Size 12 and PowerBait Mice Tails in Yellow and Red, and wouldn’t you know, the fish liked it. Finally! My Husband ended up catching 4 Rainbow Trout Fish. I'm so glad I used the PowerBait Mouse Tails because I ended up catching 2!

We stayed till dark, it’s a good idea to carry a flashlight, but with all your gear, a great idea would be to get a headlamp light.
