What I’m wearing: description from Instagram

I figured I need to start showing y’all my Red Collection while I finish up the final pieces. Then I’ll do a recap once all is finished. So I’m starting with this dress I actually made in December of 2019, but it needed a minor adjustments and sat on my memade clothes rack until December 2020. I just needed a sleeve adjustment and I have no idea why I waited so long to fix it. I absolutely love it.

I used my #tntpattern from @simplicity_creative_group #s8375 and I hacked the sleeve using the sleeve from #s8982 as a guide. I forgot to shorten the sleeve to accommodate the cuff-thus the sleeve was originally too long. A little shortening and it’s perfect!

The fabric is a knit from @joann_stores which I bought in 2019.

My previous 5 makes using this pattern had the short or three quarter length sleeves. Love this long sleeve with the cuff! And I modified the neckline, as when I put the facing on, I loved how it looked so I didn’t fold it under and top stitch it.

In winter, I’d style with black tights and long black boots, but since I took the pics indoors, I styled it for an early spring look. I could wear it with sneakers as well as it is a tshirt dress.

Have you tried this pattern yet? It is my favorite tshirt dress pattern!
