Another month, another visit to TapStart Games!

(More than a month, actually… I hate this sickness.)

Now that I'm out of store credit (due to tournament entrance fees, getting singles for others, and the occasional pricey one for myself,) I have to play seriously in order to replenish it. One 4-0 is worth $20 in store credit, so that's the goal. To make the ordeal more difficult, literally everyone in the store knows what I'm playing, so I lack the element of surprise.

That said, without hate pieces like Chalice of the Void, I'm not terribly worried about Eldrazi and Taxes. While the mono white deck has removal in Path to Exile and interacts through Thalia, Guardian of Thraben and Thought-Knot Seer, their slow clock gives me plenty of time to assemble a game-winning combo.

Here's the deck that I played. Yes, it still has the weird Tarmogoyf sideboard tech, but I'm pretty sure that it's not a good meta-call for the TapStart environment. Without Prowess or Burn for it to outclass, and with so many Path to Exile running around, I'm not sure that I won't move back to Bant and rock the Teferi, Time Raveler plus Geist of Saint Traft gameplan.
