Testing the T2Pro Thermal from Xinfrared, a Spotter with a KICK - You can use it as Thermal Scope!

Описание к видео Testing the T2Pro Thermal from Xinfrared, a Spotter with a KICK - You can use it as Thermal Scope!

Its pretty hard to get this thing in your hands and not think it's one of the coolest things ever, and that's just when you are plugging it into your Apple or Android phone. You either order the iPhone variant or the USB C variant.

At its core, it's a $399 thermal camera that you connect to your phone. It has a 256x192 sensor, not the best but not the worst, and it uses tech you've already paid for, in the form of your phone's screen, to display a really nice image.

You can plug directly into your phone and let it hang, or use the included phone and camera bracket mounted to a pistol grip, or use the parts included to install your camera into a housing that can mount to the handle or picatinny rail.

Here's where things get interesting. It has a picatinny mount. Your airgun has a picatinny rail. You can mount it on your airgun. Heres the KICK - It isn't just a spotter. The app includes the ability to put an adjustable reticle on the screen, turning the unit into a thermal scope.

YOU READ THAT RIGHT. YOU CAN TURN IT INTO A FULLY FUNCTIONAL THERMAL SCOPE FOR YOUR AIRGUN!

In this video we will show you several views of the thermal camera and how the image looks. Then I'll walk you through the process of building the housing. Then, once we have it zero'd we will head out to a local barn with a bird problem for a bit of late night pest control.

To use the camera on an iPhone with iOS you will need to download the Xinfrared App. As of today the icon for the App is a black square with a menacing looking yellow eye. It might be a dragon's eye. It's hard to tell.

Thanks to Xinfrared/Infiray for sending the T2 Pro my way for testing. This little thing is SERIOUSLY cool.

For those of you, looking for a source, the folks at Xinfrared have provided this link for the android version.
