Aqua brings Akane along for the trip to Miyazaki, much to Ruby's delight and Kana's frustration. Upon arriving at the town, they meet MEM-cho's friend and video creator Anemone Monemone, who immediately gets B-Komachi to start filming their music video. Aqua meanwhile takes Akane to the local hospital to ask about the fate of his previous life, only to find out Gorou is currently declared missing. He then heads to the cliff where he died as Gorou, but doesn't find his corpse. Finally, he stops by his old house, telling Akane about Gorou's life as if he were a family friend of his. Meanwhile, they are secretly being watched by a mysterious white haired girl who appears to be aware Aqua and Ruby are reincarnated. Upon reaching the studio, Akane cautions Aqua about dating Kana, due to the taboo against idols interacting with men. After her part of the filming ends, Ruby leaves with Akane, but her inn key is stolen by a crow. As they chase the crow, Ruby recalls how Gorou inspired her to become an idol and she has fallen in love with him. However, when they chase the crow into a cave, they find Gorou's corpse which alarms Ruby.
