Some times we can all be tempted to neaten up our slides. Typically this is a good thing, but there are some things to pay attention to when doing this. One of these things is the spatial contiguity principle.

This principle says that "...corresponding printed word and graphics need to be presented near..." to each other.

In this video I'll go into more depth on the spatial contiguity principle and guide you on how to use it to maximum effect in your learning material.
