🚨 CLOSED! Grand Canyon’s North Rim is closed for the 2025 season. The fast-moving Dragon Bravo wildfire devastated this iconic section of Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona.

The historic Grand Canyon Lodge—along with up to 80 structures, including the visitor center, gas station, employee housing, and several historic cabins—was destroyed in the wildfire. It’s a heartbreaking loss for one of America’s most cherished national parks.

🙏 Huge thanks to the incredible NPS staff and firefighting crews—thanks to their efforts, there were no reported injuries.

👉According to the NPS, closures now extend beyond the rim: All inner canyon corridor trails, campgrounds, and associated areas are shut down until further notice, including:

📍 North Kaibab Trail
📍 South Kaibab Trail
📍 Phantom Ranch
📍 Bright Angel Trail (below Havasupai Gardens)
