Knitting The Fragmented Cowl

Описание к видео Knitting The Fragmented Cowl

This is how I think about the stitches in 4 Colour Fission Knitting. I am knitting the Fragmented Cowl here by applying the rules of Fission Knitting.

0:00 Background & Slipped stitches
0:54 Design stitch
1:37 Turning at end of the round
2:15 T1B1 - cable moves to right
2:42 T1F1 - cable moves to left
3:29 cables different colours are worked the same way
4:24 T1B2 - Jump stitch moving to the right
5:51 T1F2 - Jump stitch moving to the left
7:03 Resources

Remember:
- purl the background stitches (they have 2 loops on the needle)
- slip design stitches facing the back of the work (they have 1 loop on the needle)
- knit through the back loop design stitches facing the front (1 loop on the needle); work it in the current colour of the cable

In the Fragmented Cowl, cables travel by 1 background stitch to the right or left (jump over any design stitches from the back if they are there). Work any stitches in the cable with the rules above.
