Same Lead Leg Running Step-Ups | Single-Leg Strength for Sustained Mountain Climbs

Tips:
Stay up on the balls of both feet.

This movement closely mirrors the demands of sustained climbs in the mountains, where the same leg often drives step after step while carrying a load. Same Lead Leg Running Step-Ups emphasize continuous force production through the lead leg while challenging balance, coordination, and muscular endurance.
