Made from cherry wood and powered by a sewing machine motor. Uses a ShopVac to draw off all the small stem pieces and bugs from the frozen berries as they pass under the vacuum port. Using the same principle as a seed cleaner, air flow removes everything that is lighter than the frozen berries.
In a later version, I may also attach the sifter in the hopper to the shaker. Right now, the hardware cloth I am using for a sifter to catch large stem pieces needs slightly larger holes.
