CULTRA || Cameron Highlands Malaysia || Ultra Trail Race 2022

Completed with timing of 6hrs 24 min and ranked at 41 on my age group.

Some details of race
- its 5th edition of CULTRA
- My first time participating
- There were 15 KM, 30KM, 55 KM and 100KM categories
- For 30km elevation gain was 1455m
- Race started 6.15am
Weather was cool when started in the morning kinda cold a bit and took about 2km to really warm up. Since started at 6.15am we had to run with head lamp for least for about 4 km before sun was up. First check point was at about 5 KM was relatively easy and check point 2 and 3 was all climbing up and down on our hands and legs. From check point 3 to 4 where the cut off happened was really tough due to steep downslope and also had to walk up slope for least 3 km and it was getting hot.
I found race was relatively easier then what I expected as i was preparing for it to get worse.

I must thank @Rick for his support throughout the course and congratulations to him first trail race.

Will i come back again? Well yes, go to higher categories? May be not. 30KM is just fine.

I really enjoyed this race.
