The chapter also addresses “leprous” disease in houses, teaching that impurity can spread and must be dealt with thoroughly. Leviticus 15 then covers various bodily discharges and the uncleanness they cause, emphasizing that life in a fallen world is marked by corruption and weakness—and that God’s people must treat purity seriously. The goal is not shame, but restoration: God provides a path from impurity back to clean.
