Wat Pho gets about 10,000-15,000 visitors daily. It’s a beautiful temple in Thailand and Thailand’s most visited landmark. Everyone should visit it at least once. But there are over 400 temples in Bangkok alone, so I decided to look for a temple without any tourists. My mission was to find a “normal” temple where Thai people go on a daily basis, rather than going to the most visited temple in the country. I was looking for a tranquil, peaceful temple, a respite from the chaos of the mega city. With the help of some friends along the way, I found exactly what I was looking for.
