Cariña Booyens (Soprano) sang a concert titled "Squishy Songs" at The Chapel Space at Good Shepherd. She affectionately nicknamed “Squishy Songs” - a self-indulgent selection of songs that feel good to sing is impossible to resist.

Originally written for a solo piano piece then later for orchestra by Maurice Ravel. Cariña first heard this then interpreted for flute and guitar, and decided to sing the flute part as a vocalise. The soaring melody seems like the ideal candidate for a Squishy Song.
