Barishal Cadet College, a feeder institution of the Armed Forces has been consistent in its onward march towards glory since the very inception on 01 July 1981. Its well-bounded campus, an adorable lap of blissful nature stretching over the green of 50.34 acres beside the Dhaka-Barisal highway, remains busy from dawn to dusk with the confident footsteps of as many as 300 cadets, the all-rounder future leaders, in accordance with a daily schedule of activities detailed by the Army Headquarters. Besides academic studies along with co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, cadets are duly trained up by elementary military training to overcome all sorts of obstacles on their path of success. It is notable here that Barishal Cadet College has been awarded the title of the best institution in Barishal Board in JSC, SSC, and the HSC examinations.
