What is AMS 5758 in Cobalt Alloy MP35N?

Описание к видео What is AMS 5758 in Cobalt Alloy MP35N?

AMS 5758 is a specification for MP35N. This material is a Cobalt based high strength corrosion resistant alloy.
Full Transcript:
Primary constituents are Cobalt, Nickel, Chromium, and Molybdenum. UNS designation is R30035. It is used in applications that require corrosion resistance, high strength, ductility, toughness, and resistance to fatigue. Vacuum Induction Melting followed by Consumable Electrode Vacuum Melting is required. Product to this specification is in the form of Bars in the solution treated condition. Additional cold working and a final aging heat treatment are needed to achieve its full 260 KSI minimum tensile strength. Check the specs!!
