We give the new Suzuki Jimny 5 Door (Jimny XL) a 4x4 workout and compare it to the 3 Door : Part 1

We have some fun in the sun with a Suzuki Jimny 5 door and 3 Door. In this video we take them off road to test the 4x4 ability and compare it to the 3 door legend. We also find (to our surprise!!) how much better the automatic gearbox is on the JB74 than we thought. Tough 4x4 tracks with steep incline and declines at Hobby Park 4x4 in the West Rand was our testing ground and the Jimny's both delivered in terms of their 4x4 ability. The 3 door jimny was fitted with 215 section A/T Grabbers and the 5 door was on the standard 195 section rubber as supplied when bought new, apart from that, the vehicles are completely stock. As I own the 3 door in this vid (bought new and now has 30 000km on) I was really curious to see how much different these two vehicles would be, and they were!!
