RANDY WATSON BIO

Randy Watson is a four piece band playing heavy acid psych rock from Italy. They start as a trio in late 2006 in Rivanazzano Terme (PV), from an idea of the founding members Andrea La Fiura (bass) and Marco Rebollini (guitars and vocals). The third member, Andrea Marsiglia (drums), joins the band in 2008 replacing the old drummer. By the end of 2009 they record an official EP to the "Incipit Recordings" titled "Out”,a cocktail of energy made with the fusion of heavy music with melodic and psychedelic parts.
In 2012 the band becomes a quartet when another guitar player joins the line up: the new member is Luca Meriggi, and his contribute adds more layers to the arrangements of the songs and makes the live sound more powerful.
The band’s live approach is peculiar because Randy Watson use to play their songs on stage always under different keys, indulging to their jamming aptitude which adds new paths to the studio recordings, especially with the introduction of elements of "Ambient" style. They have a strengthened live experience grown up by playing gigs in the best clubs all over northern Italy. They are currently looking forward to the self-producted new album, “We are talking about you” which will see the light in February 2015
