From the prophets to the people of the Christmas story, Scripture shows us a consistent truth: God’s servants often spoke, acted, and followed without fully understanding what God was doing. The prophets described a future they could not see clearly. Zechariah and Elizabeth lived inside promises they could not explain.

In this message, we see that discipleship is not about grasping the whole story, but about trusting God within it. As we follow without full understanding, we are slowly formed—shaped into the image of the God we trust. Advent reminds us that faith is not certainty about outcomes, but faithfulness to God’s presence while the story is still unfolding.
