Common Core Math

Hi! I've put up a new Common Core View:    • My Reasons for Talking about Common Core  

To summarize the comments, for those of you who don't care to read them:

1) I am obviously a moron.
2) Fast is obviously better.
3) Understanding process is never better than understanding a result.

Thanks for watching! :-) I love you all, even if you don't care for my beliefs.

I doubt anyone will read this, but I am really surprised by the level of hatred and vitriol that this video has generated. It's clear to my that Common Core is a polarizing topic, but I do not understand how our culture and society has degenerated to the level of spewing hate speech because of an argument.

I tried to explain the common core math problem that has been floating around Facebook.

Once you understand it, you can generally do more complicated math in your head.

Let me know how well I did at explaining it. Math is not my strongest area.
