Описание к видео GISELE MacKENZIE sings Over the Rainbow with Ray Sinatra Orch.

In 1951 Gisele MacKenzie moved her home base from her native Canada, where she was their First Lady of Song, to the U.S. She immediately started recording for Capitol Records, landed a top spot on Club 15, where she replaced The Andrews Sisters, and was personally picked by Mario Lanza to be the regular vocalist on his Coke Time radio program. Later Gisele would become Jack Benny's sidekick, star on TV's Your Hit Parade and landed her own NBC-TV program. In this 1952 performance Gisele adds her lovely contralto voice to Over the Rainbow from The Coke Time starring Mario Lanza program. Ray Sinatra provides a lush orchestration for Gisele's performance.
