House Destroyed, 2 Others Damaged In Fierce Plainview Fire

PLAINVIEW, NEW YORK (Nassau County) - Firefighters from at least nine fire departments in the area responded to battle a fierce house fire on Lillian Lane late Sunday afternoon. The blaze left one house completely destroyed and two others damaged.

The fire broke out in the vacant Plainview residence at around 3:00 PM on Sunday afternoon and rapidly engulfed the entire structure within only minutes, according to witnesses.
