1. Rudraksha can be worn while eating non-vegetarian food. There’s no need to take it off when you eat non-vegetarian food.

2. It is not just ascetics and sanyasis who have renounced family life who can wear Rudraksha. Everyone can wear a Rudraksha, provided they have the appropriate Rudraksha. A five-faced Rudraksha, or a panchamukhi, is suitable for everyone, and offers a host of benefits: it is supportive for physical and mental balance, assists in meditation, cleanses the aura, and shields against negative energies

3. Women can wear Rudraksha during their menstrual cycle. In fact, due to its supportive properties, it may actually help you get through those days of the month easier.

4. Married people can wear a Rudraksha, as long as it is appropriate for them, like the five-faced panchamukhi mentioned above. They should, however, avoid wearing ek mukhi or one-faced Rudraksha.

5. Rudraksha cannot be styled using just any metal/material. It is important to only use copper, silver or gold, and to be mindful that encasing the seeds improperly can crack them. They should not be worn if such cracks appear.

6. Rudraksha is not an item to be shared with family and friends. You should not share your Rudraksha with anyone else, since the Rudraksha adapts to the wearer.
