The transfer of responsibility for humanitarian aid imports to Gaza from the US has been completed.
Israel is participating in the negotiations, but decisions will now be made by the Americans at the coordination center in Kiryat Gat.
The American Combined Military Coordination Center (CMCC) in Kiryat Gat, responsible for monitoring the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, will now be directly responsible for the import of humanitarian aid into the Strip, replacing the IDF and the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories. This was reported on Friday, November 7, by The Washington Post, citing an American source.
According to the report, the transfer of responsibility for humanitarian aid imports to Gaza has been completed. The source clarified: "Israel is participating in the negotiations, but the decisions will now be made by the US."

Several other informed sources said this shift makes Israel a secondary factor in matters concerning the nature and volume of humanitarian aid reaching Gaza residents.
However, some participants in the process have described the work of the US headquarters in the first weeks as "chaotic and indecisive."
Recall that representatives from 40 countries and various organizations work at the US headquarters in Kiryat Gat.
US Central Command (CENTCOM) spokesman Tim Hawkins stated: "One of the benefits of having all the representatives in one location is the ability to separate the essential from the non-essential and get a real understanding of the needs on the ground."
It is not yet clear whether some of the restrictions imposed by Israel on the import of humanitarian supplies will be lifted, and whether international organizations and agencies involved in aid distribution will accept the new US 20-point plan. According to The Washington Post, the issue of Gaza's reconstruction has also become another point of contention. Some senior Trump administration advisers have proposed a plan that would quickly establish up to 16 safe communities along existing Israeli lines in Gaza.

In these areas, Palestinians who pass security clearance would be able to reside and receive protection, food, and humanitarian aid for several years, while Hamas would be disarmed and would not be part of a future Gaza Strip government.

The Civil-Military Coordination Center, which US Vice President J.D. Vance visited on October 21, is under the command of US Central Command (CENTCOM). It is responsible for security, logistics, and the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, working in coordination with Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, and other countries.
