The Ode of Salutations

This poem is one of Imam Ahmad Raza Al-Qadiri's most well known and most commonly recited poems of all. It is recited after Jumu'ah prayers throughout the world wherever there are Urdu speaking Muslims; acting upon the hadith of the Prophet (Peace be upon Him), 'increase your salawaat upon me on Fridays, for it is a day witnessed (by the
angels)...' This salaam is also the traditional way that most religious gatherings in Urdu are concluded.
