Snowbirds: Flying From Vancouver To Guadalajara

Three friends go on a flying adventure of a life time, taking a small twin engine general aviation plane all the way from Vancouver, Canada to Guadalajara, Mexico for a freeride mountain bike event.

Over the holidays in 2023 while day dreaming of flying adventures, Reece and Mike joked about flying down in Mike’s airplane to the competition that Reece was competing in. But, jokes quickly became reality and a week later they were flying down the west coast of North America all 2200nm through the US and Mexico.

Along with cinematographer Aaron Nathanson, the boys packed up the Piper Seneca II, loaded up their Mexico flight charts in ForeFlight, stowed Reece’s Giant Glory and headed into the unknown.
