Poland Seeks NATO Nod To Shoot Russian Missiles, Russian Iskanders "Destroy Himars, Ukraine Convoy"

An “unprecedented document” signed between Kyiv and Warsaw would allow NATO member Poland to down Russian missiles over Ukrainian airspace. The pact reportedly includes provisions for Warsaw “to shoot down Russian missiles and drones fired in the airspace of Ukraine in the direction of Poland”. During his visit to Warsaw, Zelensky also announced the formation and training of the ‘Ukrainian Legion’, a new volunteer unit, on Polish soil. Meanwhile, The Russian military claims to have destroyed three US-made HIMARS systems using combined actions of warplanes, drones, artillery and missile forces. Russian forces also claim they destroyed a convoy of Ukrainian military equipment in the Sumy Region using the Iskander missile system.
