This pre-contact Indigenous Stone Chamber was OSL (Optically Stimulated Luminescence) dated to 1240 AD +/- 100 years (685-885 years old - Late Woodland).

Spent two hours inside this chamber with a Porcupette filming Sunrise Time Lapses when Big Momma & Daddy Porcupines came home. They let me finish up but made me leave my breakfast apple when I was done 🍎

Wonderful that on this Winter Solstice Sunrise the Mother Porcupine climbed a feed tree that is aligned to sunrise from her Chamber home 🌞

Part of an upland Mohican Territory Ceremonial Stone Landscape that also includes many large and small prayer/memory-stone mounds, many turtle-shaped stone mounds, serpentine and linear stone rows and zoomorphic effigies, mostly avian.
