Enjoy the perfect weekend meal with this flavorful combo of Chicken Reshmi and Barbeque Rice — creamy, spicy, and irresistibly delicious! Chicken Reshmi offers tender chicken in a rich, velvety sauce, while Barbeque Rice brings together smoky grilled chicken, sautéed veggies, and fragrant rice. A complete meal bursting with restaurant-style flavor made right at home!

Chicken Reshmi

Ingredients:
Chicken pieces – ½ kg
Papaya paste – 1 tbsp
Vinegar – 1 tbsp
Cream – 1 cup
Crushed tomatoes – 1 cup
Yogurt – 1 cup
Tomato paste – 2 tbsp
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Black pepper – 1 tsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
Onion paste – 1 cup
Green chilies – 4 pcs
Butter – 1 tbsp
Oil – ½ cup
Fresh coriander – as required
Method:
Marinate chicken with papaya paste and vinegar for 30 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan, add onion paste and fry until aromatic.
Add crushed tomatoes, red chili powder, turmeric, black pepper, salt, and ginger garlic paste. Sauté well
Add the marinated chicken and cook until tender
Mix in tomato paste, yogurt, and cream. Cover and coo on low flame until chicken is done.
Add green chilies and butter, then turn off the stove.
Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot.

Barbeque Rice
Ingredients:
For Rice:
Rice – ½ kg
Chicken cube – 1 piece
Green chilies – 6 pcs
Black pepper – ½ tsp
Salt – ½ tsp
Oil – ½ cup
Garlic – 1 tsp
For Barbecue Chicken:
Boneless chicken – ½ kg
Yogurt – 1 cup
Red chili (ground) – 1 tsp
Salt – ½ tsp
Crushed black pepper – ½ tsp
Turmeric – ½ tsp
Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
Yellow food color – 1 pinch
Chaat masala – ½ tsp
Vinegar – 1 tbsp
Oil – 4 tbsp
Charcoal – 1 piece
For Vegetables:
Mixed vegetables – ½ kg
Soy sauce – 2 tbsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Black pepper – 1 tsp
Garlic – 1 tbsp
Oil – 2 tbsp
For Sauce:
Mayonnaise – ½ cup
Chili garlic sauce – ½ cup
Water – 4 tbsp
Method:
Rice: Heat oil and fry garlic. Add green chilies and 2 cups of water. Add salt, pepper, and chicken cube. Once it boils, add rice and cook until done.
Barbecue Chicken: Marinate chicken with all ingredients for 30 minutes. Cook on high flame until tender, then smoke with charcoal.
Vegetables: Stir-fry chopped vegetables with garlic in oil for 2 minutes. Add salt, pepper, and soy sauce.
Sauce: Mix mayonnaise, chili garlic sauce, and water until smooth.
Assembly: Layer rice on a serving platter, top with barbecue chicken, vegetables, and sauce. Serve hot.
