Exploring a 1,000 Acre Cattle Ranch| A No Bull Adventure Ride | KTM 890 Adventure R

Now this was a fun ride and I got the chance to dust off the KTM 890 Adventure R for the 2nd time so far in 2024. I was also looking forward to trying out a new Tourmaster Synergy Pro-Plus 12v heated vest that I had found on sale this past summer. And, it was incredible. That paired with heated grips and this ride in the low 40’s was quite comfortable.

Today, Joe was showing us a route he’s taken many times over a 1,000-acre plus cattle ranch and it was EPIC! Rolling green hills, creeks, small canyons, large open vistas, and NO DUST. This is the perfect recipe for a great adventure bike ride.

It’s also really sinking in that the learning curve on flying a drone and riding a motorcycle at the same time is pretty darn difficult. There’s been some close calls along the way too so far. Hey, I’m a real estate broker and I use my drone to film properties so this is a whole new way of using it for me and it’s not for the faint of heart.

We stopped in Raymond, CA at the Raymond General Store and I had an incredible Tri-Tip sandwich. If you’re ever in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in and pick one up.

We also met a group of Japanese tourists who were cycling from San Francisco to Los Angeles over 20 days. Now that’s some serious adventure. Kudos to them and I hope they are all safe and sound.
