It is nearly a year after the release of Aathi, Vijay released his next film pokkiri. The poor result of Aathi affected Vijay that much. O.K.. has Vijay learned anything from Aathi's debacle? Nothing! Once again Vijay chose a poor storyline, very much Aathi like. Vijay introduced as a fearless young criminal who doesnt care at all about humanity or the value of a persons life (but he always cares about children and woman). He works for a don played by Prakash Raj. Whoever it maybe... Vijay takes away his life with a single bullet. He threatens the police too. An usual cinematic incident turns into a love affair between Vijay and Asin. At one point in the film, Asin figures out that Vijay is a criminal. She now has to choose between leaving and staying with him. In the mean time, Prakash Raj revealed that Vijay is not a criminal but a honest police officer. The final part of the movie goes through that how Vijay escapes from the criminal gang and finished them as usually. Yes...what you guessed is correct.
