Switzerland Travel Vlog 2022 | Interlaken, Grindelwald, Lucerne, Crash Landing on You Film Location

I'm on a backpacking journey across Europe while on a sabbatical, and this week I'm in Switzerland! It's my first time here and I absolutely loved it. I spent 3 days in total across Lucerne and Interlaken and explored the mountains, lakes, and cities!

Lucerne was a cute city right next to Lake Lucerne. We wandered the streets around Chapel Bridge and took a boat ride across Lake Lucerne at sunset. The glacier lake was bright turquoise blue and looks unreal.

Interlaken was beautiful. The train ride through the Swiss Alps to Interlaken was the best train ride I've ever taken. The town is surrounded by mountains and sits between Lake Brienz and Lake Thun. We took a boat across Lake Brienz to Iseltwald where they filmed the Korean drama, Crash Landing on You, and got some cute pics! We also explored the mountains of Lautenbrunnen, and Wengen and saw waterfalls and beautiful views of the Swiss Alps. On our last day, we visited Grindelwald and took the Gondola to First, where we hiked to Lake Balchalpsee. The views from the mountain top were incredible! It's definitely one of my favorite places in the world.
