Dragon Ball Super has been a trip. From Battle of Gods with Beerus and Resurrection F with Freiza (Freeza) early on as the years passed we were introduced to characters like Zamasu, Goku Black, Hit and Jiren through stories like The Universe 6 Arc, Future Trunks Arc and the Universe Survival Arc.

And out of nowhere the show suddenly ended... Fast forward a few years and a movie later and we find ourselves after having received the very first manga original Dragon Ball Super arc.

And... I loved it. And the characters! Moro, Merus, and OH BOY DID I LOVE JACO! I've been extremely critical of Toyotaro and Dragon Ball Super's manga at large but after having gone back over the story all at once, the issues I had prior either vanished entirely or were much more managable.
