Founded in 2012 Memphis, Tennessee guitarist Blake Allison and bassist Joey Walser form the nu-metal sensation Devour The Dayfrom the outgrowth of the band Egypt Central. The bands first release, 2013’s Time & Pressure caught the ear of industry professionals and the band went on an extensive tour, opening for bands like Pop Evil, Hinder, Theory of a Deadman and Sevendust. The band headed back into the studio and produced their landmark record. S.O.A.R. released in 2016 and a follow up 2018’s Signals. Devour the Day songs of emotional struggle and eventual triumph speaks to millions of fans, worldwide. The band is still active and is planning on releasing new music in the coming year.
