Xbox Romance Scam (2023). Yes, there are Xbox Scammers of all types on Xbox. One of the oldest scamming methods are the Romance Scam. It involves the scammer (usually a female), using either his/her looks to deceive men, and tricking them into sending them money. In romance scamming situations, sometimes it's a guy pretending to be a girl, to scam other guys. It's a common scamming method on the internet. In this case, we have Xbox Romance Scamming.

I received a DM from someone who fell victim to the Xbox Romance Scam, which works pretty much the same way as a normal romance scam over the internet. He saw a post on Xbox Looking for Groups of this random Xbox E-Girl, looking for a boyfriend over Xbox. Looking for that "guy" in her life. Choosing her words carefully to attract guys to become victims and to send her money. They talked for a few days and the Xbox E-Girl was pretending to be depressed, claiming that no one likes her, playing as a victim to gain sympathy from the other person. Meanwhile, her gamerpic (most likely fake), is of an attractive girl so the Xbox Simp can easily fall victim to the scam.

Eventually, after many days of talking, and the Xbox E-Girl mentioning the need for money, she asks for some money and sometimes offers to pay her new "boyfriend" back. Once she receives the money, she either ghosts you or asks for more. In this case, she ghosted the victim. A month later, he reached out, asking me to expose her and make a video. I already covered the Xbox Romance Scam in a previous video a while ago, but I thought I might as well upload this one as the Xbox Romance Scam is very common and boys'girls can fall victim to it. Remember, it's Xbox. If someone over Xbox asks you for money, that's an immediate red flag and you shouldn't ever send them money. Regardless what they say.
