HUGER, S.C. (WCIV) — “Horses helping heal hearts, minds and spirits”, that’s the slogan for Blissful Dreams Rescue Ranch, News 4's September community partner.

Blissful Dreams Rescue Ranch offers therapeutic horseback riding and animal-related activities for children and adults dealing with various challenges.

For one of the people in the program, they say riding horses is one of the highlights of their week.

“Myrth she's just the sweetest thing you'll ever meet,” said Dylan Fisher, who comes to the ranch to ride and volunteer once a week. “I've known her for two and a half years and she's just a sweetheart. I just love her.”

Fisher is visually impaired but despite that challenge, he knows his was around the ranch like an expert.
