EDIT: Welp, I should've seen that coming. YouTube just sort of ignored the whole 5K thing and shot it back down to standard HD. Oh well.

The videos I plan for the series will be in at least 1080p at 60 fps, but Dolphin can go as high as 5K resolution, so I was curious how that would look on YouTube. I only recorded the video output for this one, no audio just yet. Enjoy this 2 second vid of me opening the game and scrolling through a menu!

Hello all! I plan on starting a new, consistent series on my channel, where I play SUPER SMASH BROS. Melee online over NetPlay with a bunch of people who are clearly better than I am.

I've been wanting to do this for some time now, but my computer has been refusing to cooperate. Finally, after getting a new laptop, I can get some decent footage. There are a few things that are preventing me from starting the series though.

For starters, NetPlay users use Dolphin 4.0-7840 to play officially. I can only get Dump Frames to work properly with Dolphin if I use a 5.0 version. All recorded matches from 4.0 do not play out properly on 5.0 due to changes in input tracking, so I will need to wait for Smashladder to update to 5.0 before I can start uploading real matches.

In the meantime, I will be uploading some small test videos by myself as precursors to the series.
