PC Harper died of multiple injuries, Thames Valley police confirm

Ten people arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of PC Andrew Harper were from a nearby traveller site, police confirmed today. At a press conference, Detective Superintendent Ailsa Kent said 10 males aged between 13 and 30 were arrested on suspicion of murder. The males were arrested from a local authority-run caravan and mobile home site, Four Houses Corner in Reading Road near Burghfield Common. Burglars involved in the death of PC Harper had been 'raiding an £800,000 Victorian country house in Berkshire that was being renovated' and 'stole a quad bike' before the officer was killed, sources told MailOnline on Saturday.
