Meselson and Stahl experiment - This lecture explains about the famous meselson and stahl experiment that explains the mode of DNA replication. Meselson and stahl did the experiment to prove the semiconservative model of DNA replication. The experiment is performed by growing e. Coli bacteria in heavy nitrogen medium and then transfered to the light nitrogen medium to check the incorporation of new light nitrogen to know the model of semiconservative DNA replication.
