HAPICIDIFFDOT (Central Intelligence Difference using DOTS)
Purpose: Measures the rate of change of momentum (acceleration) to spot reversals in futures trading, ideal for gap-up and gap-down scenarios.
Description:
Builds on Hamzei Analytics’ Central Intelligence (CI) algorithm, where price is distance and CI is velocity.
This indicator is a visual representation of HAPICIDIFF.
Plots the excess value of the price based on calculations off a zero value
Signals reversals through Cyan dots for the long side and Magenta dots for the short side.
Example: A cluster of dots below -5 suggests a potential price reversal or some profit taking.
HAPICI is the foundational indicator that shows the direction, while HAPICIDIFFDOT shows trendiness.
In essence HAPICIDIFFDOT shows trend moves vs consolidation.
NinjaTrader Use:
Displayed as dots on the NinjaTrader chart in the main panel with Cyan dots for oversold and Magenta dots for overbought.
No inputs are required, the indicator plots these dots automatically
Practical Example:
On our ES chart note how a cluster of these dots is helpful to see areas where the market may pause or even reverse, depending on the many variables that affect market price. Think of it as a volatility meter.
A reminder to use stops as no indicator works 100% of the time.
Video Script Outline (2–3 Minutes)

Intro (15–20 seconds): “Welcome to Hamzei Analytics’ Proprietary Indicator Series! Today, we’re exploring HAPICIDIFFDOT—Central Intelligence Difference using DOTS—for NinjaTrader users. This indicator is also part of the Expert package.”
Purpose and Description (30–40 seconds): “HAPICIDIFF measures acceleration—the rate of change of momentum—where price is distance, CI is velocity, and CI Diff is acceleration. HAPICIDIFFDOT is meant to show this representation visually. HAPICI is the foundational indicator that shows the direction, while HAPICIDIFFDOT shows trendiness. In essence HAPICIDIFFDOT shows trend moves vs consolidation.“
NinjaTrader Use (30–40 seconds): “In NinjaTrader, it plots the excess value of the price based on calculations off a zero value.
