Los Silos in the Northern Coast of Tenerife

Los Silos is an attractive town on the northern coast of Tenerife,  located in the northwest region (also known as the region of Isla Baja) of the island of Tenerife. Los Silos is a municipality in the northwestern part of the island Tenerife, Canary Island, Spain. It is located 57 km west of the capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The area is very laid back, there's no atmosphere of party and disco club.

There are some restaurant that you can enjoy sea foods and canarian foods, at the center of the plaza there's a bar that always full of local and tourist people. There's  a beautiful church, a historic town hall and beautiful plaza.
The beach of Los Silos is a ten minute walk from the town center and the beach is decorated with a huge elevated 30 feet whale skeleton. The coastline of Los Silos is about 5km long and mostly made up of volcanic rocks. You can enjoy swimming in the peeble beach and the natural rock pools (charcos).
Los Silos is very beautiful and a real insight into what genuine life in Tenerife  is like, so if simplicity and unpretentious are what you are after, this tranquil little village is definitely worth a visit.
