BYD launched the very popular 2023/2024 Atto 3 Facelift on 6 September, 2024 in Malaysia. Notable changes were the inclusion of Cosmos Black as a colour option, removal of chrome side trims, improved range from 410km to 480km (NEDC), darker interior finishes, electronic tailgate, bigger wheels, better tires - Continental EcoContact 6Q tyres instead of Atlas Batman A51, number of speakers increased to 9 from 6 units, increased rotating touch screen size to 15.6" and abbreviated rear badge to simply BYD.

The good news is the price remains the same at RM149,800 without OTR costs. The powertrain rated at 204 PS (201 hp or 150 kW) and 310 Nm of torque to get you from 0-100 km/h time of 7.3 seconds. Powering comes from a Blade lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery with a claimed WLTP range of 420 km or 480 km NEDC cycle.

The ATTO 3 supports 88 kW of DC fast charging, quick enough to get you from 10 to 80% charge in 40 minutes. AC charging remains at 7 kW, which means a full charge takes 9 hours and 42 minutes.
