Al Ghaoui Naima nemzetközi humanitárius szakértő, aki a világ számos országában, köztük több konfliktuszónában dolgozott humanitárius és emberi jogi területeken. Naima Salgótarjánban született, félig magyar, félig szíriai származású. Az ELTE Jogtudományi Kar elvégzése után azonnal a svájci központú Vöröskereszt Nemzetközi Bizottságánál (ICRC) helyezkedett el. Munkája során gyakran tapasztalja, hogy a társadalmi megosztottság milyen drámai hatással van az emberek életére, és hogy az egyénnek milyen nagy felelőssége van abban, hogy kilépjen a sokszor mesterségesen létrehozott csoportokból, és képessé váljon kommunikálni a másik emberrel. Beszédében ahhoz mutat utat, hogyan érdemes közelíteni a másikhoz a látszólag feloldhatatlan ellentétet jelentő helyzetekben. In her work, she often experiences what a dramatic effect social division can have on people’s lives. Naima also believes that individuals should take responsibility and step out of the artificially created groups to be able to communicate with each other. In her talk she suggests how we all should approach each other in difficult conflict situations. This talk was given on December 2, 2021.
