Surviving THE FIRST WEEK with OUR NEWBORN BABY! (UK 2021) ❤️(|

Hi lovely Curry and Dumpling family ❤️

So since so many of you absolutely loved our previous video 😍where we shared the labour and birth of our little son Aryan, we thought we must share what followed next with almost one week at the hospital....😓

Unfortunately Aryan was moved to the neonatal unit a day after being born since he had developed some serious jaundice and other issues. 😟

Thankfully he got better really quick and the doctors, midwives and nurses at the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh were absolutely fantastic in giving both Aryan and I the care and treatment we needed.

After a full week at the hospital, we finally went home! 😍 In this vlog we will share the journey from being in the hospital, my experience there and as well as our trip home and baby meeting the cats for the very first time.

We had never imagined that we will have to spend almost 7 days at the hospital so it was quite an emotional and draining process from Aryan being taken away from my arms to being admitted in the neonatal unit but at the end it was the best for him and we are so glad we got to spend the time we did at the hospital.

We really hope you all enjoy this vlog and the fact that this video can help all the expecting mums out there to see how birth looks like, what it feels like and what to expect once the baby is out. Even if they need to go to the neonatal unit, dont worry as doctors and nurses will do everything to make sure baby is getting all the treatment and care they need. Also, babies are quite resilient and they will bounce back eventually.

Also, a big thanks to NHS Scotland staff, midwifes, doctors and nurses who were absolutely amazing and catered to all our needs during tour entire time at the hospital.
