Know how to operate your ATV controls to improve your safety

Описание к видео Know how to operate your ATV controls to improve your safety

Operational controls include throttle, gear shift, brakes and clutch (if you have one). To be a safe ATV rider you must maintain control of your vehicle at all times. ATV operations require riders to develop skills for starting, stopping and turning. Riders should be familiar with the unique features and controls for each ATV. Not all ATVs are alike, controls may vary in location, function and operation. Read the manufacturers manual to make sure that you know where controls are located and how to operate them correctly at all times.

This online training is part of a series modeled after the ATV Safety Institute (ASI) hands-on RiderCourses ™ designed to increase your knowledge, skills and abilities for safer use of ATVs at work and for recreation. We hope that you will learn a new respect for the serious nature of ATVs and seek the 5-hour, hands-on, ASI RiderCourse in your area.
