Triumph Bonneville T100 Black - Cruise Control Installation

You never really appreciate cruise control until you don't have it and it's great on long freeway stretches. All in all, the install process was a lot more straightforward and simple than I had expected with the only issue being finding which cruise control kit is the correct one.

For example, I found three different part numbers for T100 non-DRL kits, with the most common one (A9638255) not even being listed in the official accessory catalog. This kit is only suitable for a cluster of VINs between 759204 up to 795172, a fact which few retailers point out.

My bike requires the A9638178 kit which has already been superseded by another part number for newer VINs.

Other than that, you do need to get a software update from a dealership in order for the cruise control to be utilized, but all that did was give me an excuse to ride.
