A fall getaway to the San Juan Islands of Washington State is an Inspiration for the Senses!

Visit the San Juans in the fall, and you'll meet farmers offering the freshest produce at the farmer's markets, winemakers pouring tasty sips of island grown wines, oystermen and oysterwomen shucking oysters on-the-half-shell fresh from a pristine, cold bay. From mid-September through early November each year, Savor the San Juans offers special farm tours, wine dinners and signature tasting events such as Eat Island Grown, where local chefs join with farmers to produce tasty bites. Hops on the Rock, a beer festival on Orcas Island, celebrates Novembeer, with brewers from around the region.

And don't miss the Orcas Island Film Festival and the Friday Harbor Film Festival, bringing artists and film lovers to the islands each fall to share their love of cinema.
