This was my dream from many years ago to step here with my family and for the first time we came here in the month of June 2023. And, you cannot believe how much we enjoyed this place in the midst of only ice. Though it's a high mountain pass and probably someone may feel breathing issues if having no prior experience of high altitude but we don't have any kind of issues.
Baralacha La is a high mountain pass in the Zanskar Range, connecting the Lahaul and Ladakh regions of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It's situated at an elevation of approximately 16,040 feet (4,890 meters) above sea level. The pass is often a part of the Manali-Leh Highway and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. It's known for its challenging terrain and weather conditions, making it a popular destination for adventure travelers and motorcyclists.
