In honor of hitting 2,000 subscribers on the channel, here's another rare sought after video from my archive.

On August 30, 1992, 35 years to the day after she was retired, the Santa Fe 3751 pulled 12 cars of Santa Fe employees, friends and family on a journey of 4600 miles into the past.

From Hobart to Corwith... through Cajon Pass... up Edelstein Hill... Santa Fe cameras recorded magnificent, one-of-a-kind shots of the 3751 as she returned to the high iron.

Ride along with crew members in the cab. Listen as they recall the days they pushed this Baldwin 4-8-4 to the limit. See exclusive interviews with the men who took the 3751 on the longest ride of her life.

Material from Symphony in Steam was used in There Goes A Train (1994), Train Adventure's For Kids (1994), I Love Toy Trains Part 3 (1994) & God Bless The Santa Fe (1995).
